Except at the budget end, Kathmandu hotel rates are expensive. If you are trekking with an organized group, your trek will probably include accommodation at one of the more expensive hotels. Hotels are booked solid during the trekking season, so you may have to do a bit of shopping, or take advantage of the airport touts, if you arrive without a reservation.
